About
Vinny Galya holds a bachelor of science degree in physical education and health. He is entering his 10th full-time year as a physical education and health teacher at the pre-school - elementary level.
Through camps and clinics Vinny has worked with children of all ages for 15+ years. Upon graduating Kean University in 2012 he started personal, sport specific and group training at several facilities and on his own. His expertise attends to developmental skills and fundamentals of physical movement and baseball.
He was a 4 year member of the Kean University baseball program where during his tenure he was a part of 157 wins and only 46 losses. He has been a part of 3 conference (NJAC) championships and has made 3 appearances in the NCAA DIII World Series by winning 3 Mid-Atlantic Region championships.
In 2011, Vinny set the single season stolen base record with 33 and was named to the NCAA DIII Mid-Atlantic Region All-Tournament Team.
Aside from professional work, personal experience and accolades, Vinny has a passion for developing the youth physically and mentally. With a decline nationwide in physical activity, especially in schools, Vinny is driven to instill a physical component into every child's life. Life skills will also be learned when entering a GALYA environment. Morals, ethics, respect, honor, integrity just to name a few will be instilled into every child's program.
